Studded Denim Shirt / Leather Jacket
I bought this denim shirt at Bershka which was actuall 1 size too big for me. Thought some studs would add some rock’n roll flair.
Before and after:
So I had to make it 1 size smaller, this is how I started:
Draw on pattern paper the piece that needs to be cut out, don’t forget to leave space for 1 cm seamline!
Draw with a permanent marker on the line of the pattern.
Don’t worry about drawing on the fabric because you’ll be drawing on the seamline hence it will be cut out.
Cut out on the drawn line.
Place front fabric on front fabric with pins.
Sew 1 cm seamline from each sides.
Overlock
Because collar studs can’t be found in Belgium, I bought metal angels for book covers.
To attach it to the collar you’ll need some extra help with a thick card + (in my case) I’ve also used a recycle bag of thick quality (because it’s flex).
Use a pincer and squeeze!
Results on front and back of the collar:
Add some studs:
Pin it down with scissors.
Finish!
I did the same procedure with my leather jacket:
