Dress – Dries Van Noten
It was finally time to start with the fabric which I’ve bought at the Dries Van Noten (DVN) stocksale 2 years ago. Dries Van Noten is one of the most famous Belgian designers of the group so called ”the Antwerp Six”. DVN stands for beautifull printed fabrics mostly in silk.
Inspired by the spring/summer collection 2009…I have sewed a dress inspired by look number 3. (photo courtesy from Firstview/Vogue.com)
100% printed silk, see through fabric.

Oh! I am so jealous you have your own version with this gorgeous fabric! The collection it’s from is my absolute favorite Dries Van Noten ever made. I still drool over the pictures!
Hi, thank you for your lovely comment! You can purchase fabrics from his previous collections at the “stockverkoop DVN” which they organise at the Godefriduskaai in Antwerp 2x a year…Greetings, Linda
hihi, I know about the stockverkoop, but there’s always a long queue and I don’t really like standing in line for a long time…
